Journal entry 25/10/2008
My good friend Linda phoned yesterday she knows me well – and knows when I am struggling. She just had one word to say to me;-
Thank you Linda – you often know what to say to nudge me in the right direction
This morning in the studio I picked up a fabric background that I had made some months ago – it was rather lovely – and as I looked at it, I realized that I had no idea how I had created it.
Sometimes when you have been away from art-work for a while – you have to go back to basics and I often find that my “back to basics” are very geometric.
Above is to-days journal entry – and it had given me some thoughts.
High winds and wet rain to-day – so back into the studio after all these months away. The journal entry says it all.
